राहू देव भगवान् हनुमान के उपासक हैं और इनका पसंदीदा रंग नीला, काला और गहरा भूरा है! राहू देव का पसंदीदा दिन शनिवार है और यह ग्रह दिमाग, पागलपन और बेवजह निष्फल घूमने फिरने या धक्के खाने से सम्बंधित है!

भारतीय पोराणिक शास्त्रों में निम्नलिखित कार्यों को उल्लेखित किया गया है जिनसे इस ग्रह को शांति मिले और आपको मनवांछित फल! यह कार्य कुछ इस प्रकार हैं:-

राहू देव को अपने लिए शुभ करने हेतु, किसी भी शनिवार के दिन नीला या कोला रंग का कपडा दान दें

गोमेद रत्न माध्यमा ऊँगली में शनिवार के दिन पहने (यदि राहू कुंडली में नीच हो तो नहीं)
