Gayatri Mantra







Om Bhoor-Bhuwah Swah;                                        
Tat-Savitur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi;
Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayaat

Meaning :-
O Supreme Lord! You alone are true. You alone are worthy of glorification and oblation. You are the creator and sustainer of all. You are the giver of life. Divine Father, the source of existence, intelligence and bliss, you are all-powerful, all-wise, eternal and merciful. You know my feelings. Nothing is hidden from you. I want to worship you in the temple of my heart. I want to feel your divine presence in me, and in everything. You are Great, Good and Pure. Help me Father, to live a good, pure and sinless life. Illumine and inspire my intellect. Grant me great understanding and a peaceful mind that I may live in the Presence of your Divine Glory.







Shiva Mantra

Aum Sarvamangalamangalye
Shive Sarvathasaadhike
Sharanye Triyambake Gauri
Naraayani Namostute

Meaning :-
Thou art the all auspicious Shiva (Shakti aspect), the bountiful; I prostrate myself at Thy feet O Triyambake (three eyed one), Gauri (the one with a fair complexion, Parvathi) Naraayani.

Vishnu Mantra

Shaantaakaaram
Bhujagashayanam
Padmanaabham Suresham

Vishwaadhaaram
Gaganasadrasham
Meghavarnam Shubhaangam

Lakshmikaantam
Kamalanayanam

Vande Vishnum

Meaning :-
I bow to Lord Vishnu the One Master of the Universe, who is ever peaceful, who reclines on the great serpent bed, from whose navel springs the Lotus of the Creative Power, who is the Supreme Being, who supports the entire universe, who is all-pervading as the sky, who is dark like the clouds and has a beautiful form; the Lord of Lakshmi, the lotus-eyed One, whom the yogis are able to perceive through meditation, He, who is the destroyer of the fear of Samsar.


Guru Mantra

Gurur Bramah Gurur Vishnu
Guru Devo Maheswaraha
Gurur Sakshaat Parabramha
Tasmai Shi Gurudev Namaha

Meaning :-
Salutations to that noble Guru, Who is Bramha, Vishnu and Lord Parameshwara; and Who is verily the Supreme Brahman

Ganesha Mantra

Vakratunda Mahaakaayah
Suryakoti Samaprabha
Nirvighnam Kurume Deva
Sarvakaaryeshu Sarvadaa

Meaning : -
O Lord with a curved trunk and a mighty body, whose lustre equals a crore of suns, I pray to Thee O Lord, remove the obstacles from all my good actions.


Lakshmi, Saraswati And Govinda Mantra

Karamadhye Saraswati
Karamoole Tu Govindah
Prabhaate Karadarshanam


Meaning :-
On the tips of my fingers resides Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth. In the centre of my palm resides Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning and at the base of my palm, resides Lord Govinda. Therefore, thinking in this manner; I look at my palms, early in the morning.

Meaning :-
May Goddess Saraswati completely remove our ignorance and protect us. She who is fair like the 'Kunda' flower, the moon, the snow and a necklace of white pearls, who is wearing pure white garments, whose hand is adorning the neck of an excellent Veena and who is seated on a white lotus, to whom Brahma, Vishnu, Maheshwara and other forms of God pay homage. (May she protect me) Oh Goddess of knowledge, remove the ignorance from my mind completely.

Vishwa Shanti Mantra

Aum Saha Naav Vavatu
Sahanau Bhunaktu
Saha Veeryam Karavaavahai

Tejasvinaavadheetamastu
Maa Vidvishaavahai

Aum Shanti! Aum Shanti! Aum Shanti!

Meaning :-
May the Lord protect us both, may he nourish us both, may we work together with great vigour (Divine strength), may we both acquire brilliance of our intellect through our studies, may we not hate another. Let there be peace and peace and peace!


Khushaali Mantra

Aum Sarve Vai Sukhhinah Santu
Sarve Santu Niraamayaah
Sarve Bhadraani Pashyantu
Maa Kaschid Dukhamaapnuyaat
Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti

Meaning :-
May all be happy.
May all be healthy (free from disease).
May all see auspiciousness.
May none suffer.
Aum Peace Peace Peace
Peace for self.
Peace for neighbours.
Peace for the entire world.

Bhojan Mantra

Brahmaarpanam Brahma Havihir
Brahmaagnow Brahmanaahutam
Brahmaiyva Thena Ganthavyam
Brahmakarma Samaadhinaa

Meaning :-The whole creation being a gross projection of Bramham, the Cosmic Consciousness itself; the food too is Bramham, the process of offering it is Bramham; it is being offered in the fire of Bramham. He who thus sees Bramham in action, reaches Bramham alone.


Ratri Prarthna Mantra

Karacharanakrutam Vaak-Kaayajam KarmajamVaa
Shravananayanajam Vaa Maanasam Vaa Aparaadham
Vihitamavihitam Vaa Sarvametat Kshamasva
Jaya Jaya Karunaabdhe Shreemahaadevashambho

Meaning :-
O Lord, kindly forgive the wrong actions I have done knowingly or unknowingly, either through my organs of action (hands, feet, speech) or through my organs of perception (ear, eyes) or by my mind. Glory unto Thee, Oh Lord, who is the ocean of compassion.

Sai Gayatri Mantra

Om Saayeeswaraaya Vidhmahe,
Sathya Devaaya Dheemahi
Thannassarvah Prachodayaath

Meaning :-
We realise Sri Sathya Sai as the Supreme Lord;
We meditate on Lord Sathya,
The Embodiment of Transcendental Truth,
The Supreme Brahman;
We pray for the nourishing Love
Of His Grace and Protection!
Let Peace reign Supreme!
